Save the drama for your mama. . .

Drama is just another way for the devil to lure us toward sin.  Anger, hurt, sadness, broken friendships, all of these things can be caused by drama.  Why are we so attracted to it?  Drama is just like any other sin, if you get involved with it you think it will help you and it'll be so cool but no, drama stinks.  So I am vowing to attempt to steer clear of ALL drama for the rest of the summer and hopefully that will be a jumpstart for the rest of my life. . . . anyone want to join me?

With Jesus' help we can all avoid drama!

Shakespeare

I love Shakespeare.  Shakespeare is brilliant, he knows how girls think, how they act and what they like in a guy.  He writes about  guys who most of the time,  know exactly how to romance a girl, yet he still captures the somewhat care-free and simpleness of a guy's mind.  Guys think: girls, food, and um girls.  And in Shakespeare the men always act that same way.  Not only is Shakespeare a relationship expert but he is a comic genius as well.  His writing can make anyone laugh and knows how to entertain.  He uses his amazing vocabulary to draw out tales about  love-sick people, crazy people, arrogant people and his writing makes our vocab seem useless.  Shakespeare, give him a shot!

Tebow Time

You know that you’re pretty famous when you have super mega-fans and super mega haters.  Tim Tebow is one of the greats.  I am a Tebow fan, I love the number 15, I know how to Tebow, so yes, I am a believer.  But there are many who don’t just dislike him, they detest him.  They are what I like to call the uneducated.  How can they say he is not a good quarter back when he has been a part of so many epic wins?  Then others say he can’t throw a football, well if he can’t then why did he throw the football 316 yards (John 3:16, I love it!) at our last game against the Steelers, which by the way, haters, we won.
Now other haters still say that there is too much hype about “Tebow” but I disagree.  Probably the best quarterback in Bronco history was John Elway.  There was so much hype about Elway, he was hated, he was loved.  See a pattern here?  Some people just need to lighten up, I mean why should Bronco fans hate Tebow?  He has helped us win many games, I’m not going to lie: he’s attractive, and he loves Jesus.  What more could you ask for?
He is not afraid to be himself, he lets his light shine and I love that about him.  So many people today hide who they really are to be cool, because people don’t like different, they like “normal”.  But Tim Tebow is helping us to know that it is okay to be unique.
I know a lot of Tebow fans, but I also know a few haters.  I am just a little bit defensive of Tim Tebow, okay, who am I kidding I am very defensive of Tebow.  I really think that he is a genuine guy and I don’t hate the haters, I just dislike their dislike.  I am not just a band-wagon Bronco fan either; I have been a fan since I could say the word Bronco.  I have owned a jersey for most of my life and I have always loved my home team.  I love orange and blue, usually terrible colors together, but when they are racing across a field, they’re awesome.
Whatever your opinion may be, just give him a chance; think about Tebow, can he possibly be that bad?
